Staff Highlight - Mrs. Moske
After 19 years working as Project Management Coordinator at The Timken Company, Mrs. Moske began to seek her heart’s desire.
While living in Ohio, she began the journey in the area of education as a Reading Tutor in one of the elementary schools. After moving to North Carolina, Mrs. Moske began working on the Literacy Team at Blythe Elementary. She has been state trained to teach writing which focuses on preparing elementary age students achieve grade level goals. While working as Literacy Teacher, which emphasizes reading comprehension, language arts and writing, she also supported the math program in assisting students to reach grade level standards.
In 2002, Mrs. Moske joined Chesterbrook Academy (Birkdale location) as lead Jr. K teacher for 5 years.
In 2007, Mrs. Moske became part of the McKinney Academy team. She is currently tutoring elementary students and is working in the capacity of Resource Specialist. As a Resource Specialist, Mrs. Moske will be able to assist the classroom teachers as part of an academic support team to aid students in the core areas of study. This is implemented through individual and/or small group settings.
Along with being Resource Specialist, Mrs. Moske is heading up our Before and After School Program which is a new service provided for our families.
Mrs. Moske is a tremendous asset to McKinney Academy and we are very fortunate to have such a great team member as part of our educational program.
