Spelling Bee News - Congratulation to Chloe B. for a job well done representing McKinney Academy by participating in the District (Mecklenburg County) Spelling Bee held at Charlotte Country Day School in Charlotte. She placed 8th out of 15 students. Congratulations Chloe!
D.E.A.R. Day
Mustang Mingle - D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) Day was Friday, January 20th. Students dove into their favorite books along with their favorite pillows and blankets. The students had a great time reading and spending time together getting lost in their favorite books. This is a great opportunity to cultivate the student's love of reading!
